When an SNES controller is used for SNES titles or when a NES controller is used for a NES title, the mapping is simple.
Launch SNES9x from the folder Run SNES9x. You can remap Xbox 360, Xbox One & Xbox Elite controllers to keyboard and mouse.
I tried the last version of bsnes/higan with the balanced/performance profiles (v0.98) and of course it doesn't support that feature. I use the same controller and receiver on my pc and there's no lag. The + variant of the app is available in the Play Store and is designed for more powerful devices.

I tried the latest version of bsnes/higan and it did support that feature, but my computer just isn't powerful enough to run the accuracy profile (the only profile available in current versions) without obnoxious audio problems. If youre having problems with Snes9x, or think youve found a bug, this is the place to be. I have an xbox360 controller with usb receiver and am getting about 1-2 second lag on keypress. Running off the back of the excellent Snes9x emulator (that’ll be a running theme in this list), Snes9x EX and EX+ are the best dedicated SNES emulators for Android if you don’t want all the fuss of Retroarch.
I tried SNES9x, and it doesn't appear to support mapping multiple buttons to the same input. Here's where things get tricky: I would like to be able to use both the analog stick (which is ideal for running around) and the D-pad (which is perfect for navigating menus) on the controller. Naturally I would prefer to use a controller rather than keyboard/mouse, so I grabbed my trusty 360 controller. I was in the mood to play Chrono Trigger again and rather than put up with the disc loading times on my PS1 Final Fantasy Chronicles version, I figured I would just use an emulator. I have played single player with both and no problems. I have configured it, mapped keys and so forth, yet when i play a two player game,(super Tennis), it will not work. Everything works except for the second controller. It looks like everithing is recognized, but nothing happens. I have recently bought a mx8 android box and have installed the snes9x app.
